Tarrant County College District recommends the Student Secure plan for their F1 or J1 international students because it provides comprehensive coverage designed for international students at reasonable rates. Students can choose from four different levels of coverage - Smart, Budget, Select and Elite - so that they can make sure they have a suitable plan that meets their needs. International students are also able to keep this plan if they transfer schools or during their OPT period as long as their student visa remains valid.

Note: If you are on a short-term visa, you may consider the Atlas Travel plan also since this plan can be purchased for as little as 5 days. If you are on a J visa, you must choose a policy maximum of $100,000 or greater and a deductible of $500 or less.
