Depending on your employer, you may get health insurance through your company, or you may need to purchase your own individual health insurance policy. The Atlas Travel plan is an excellent option while on OPT and allows you to choose your deductible ($0 to $5,000) and policy maximum (from $50,000 to $2,000,000). You can have coverage for as little as 5 days up to one year, and benefits include:
