Northwest College requires all international students to purchase the Student Secure insurance plan for their entire stay in the US to protect themselves in the case of an accident or illness.
International students can choose any of the 4 different plan levels depending on their needs. However, athletes should purchase the Select or Elite levels otherwise the plan won’t provide coverage for intercollegiate sports.
This plan also works well for OPT students as long as their F1 visa remains valid.
Important Dates — Students must purchase this period of coverage
Spring 2025: January 17, 2025 through May 31, 2025.Summer 2025: June 1, 2025 through August 22, 2025.
