The Student Secure plan is available in three levels—Budget, Select, and Elite—each designed to meet and exceed the insurance requirements at Florida International University (FIU) and tailored specifically for international students and scholars. We provide daily reports to FIU, keeping your school updated on your plan, so you won’t have to worry about filling out a waiver. This streamlined process helps you focus on what matters most: your education!

Important Dates — Students must purchase this period of coverage

Spring/Summer: January 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025
Spring ONLY: January 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025
Annual 2025: January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025
Summer 2025 (only for newly admitted/transfer students)**: May 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025

*International students must purchase Spring and Summer insurance, regardless of study plans, unless graduating in Spring. Students graduating must provide a note from their academic advisor confirming credit requirements for graduation have been met to be approved from Spring coverage.
**Summer option will ONLY be accepted for New admitted/Transfer student taking classes for the First time at FIU
