Why Am I Having Trouble Registering for CareClix?
There could be a few reasons why you cannot register for the CareClix service. The most common reasons include:- Your program has not started — You will not be able to register for the CareClix service until after your insurance plan has started. If you aren’t sure when your plan starts, check your insurance ID card to confirm your plan's effective date, or ask your sponsoring organization.
- You entered your personal details incorrectly — You will need to use your first and last name exactly how they appear on your insurance enrollment, as well as the email address associated with your enrollment.
- You entered the username, password, or Clinic ID incorrectly — When registering initially, you’ll need to use the IMG ID number included on your insurance ID card as the username, and you’ll need to enter Img12345! as the password. You’ll also be asked to enter a Clinic ID, which should be imgins.

How Does CareClix Work?
After you've created your account, it's simple to request a real-time video, app, or phone consultation with a CareClix provider. A doctor will review your medical history and perform a video exam or phone consultation usually within minutes. You will then receive a medical record and care instructions electronically, along with any necessary prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy. If you require urgent care you will be immediately referred to the nearest emergency room or urgent care center. The entire telehealth visit is completed on average within 30 minutes or less. -
How Much Does the Service Cost?
There is no cost associated with using CareClix, and your plan includes unlimited visits. -
Can I Get a Prescription?
Yes, doctors can submit prescriptions for pick-up at your local pharmacy through the CareClix service. Depending on your plan, you may need to pay for your prescription upfront and submit a claim against your insurance plan for reimbursement. -
What if I Need a Referral?
If you are referred for follow-up care outside of CareClix, any further visits will be handled by your insurance per the benefits of your plan and will need to be submitted to your insurance company for processing.
